The bookshelf in the library, the decorative transport boxes in the lobby, and beds and seating furniture in the rooms have one thing in common: the use of Pinus pinaster plywood. Due to its vivid drawing, the architect chose this plywood as ideal for use in interior design. From the lobby to the “Smart Maisonette” room with a wooden intermediate ceiling, Hotel Schani in Vienna has its finger on the pulse of the time.
